Last week we made slow but steady progress! Manufacturing successfully made their first climb, and the business side is finalizing and accommodating for outreaches and more events to come. This week, we also celebrated Lunar New Year together as a team! Here are some thoughts on our progress from some of our members.
“The climb is highly innovative. We first looked at our videos of other teams that were already successful and decided to build on top of those. We had three iterations, and we’re looking forward to experimenting with the center of mass, more torque and other factors to help a robot actually climb.” - James Wang (manufacturing)
“For the business teams, we have been working diligently on chairman and outreaches. We are currently planning hotels to make sure the competitions are comfortable for our members. We are also scouting restaurants in the Fresno area to accommodate our ferocious appetites. It has been a fun week and a hectic one however I feel like our current financial situation allows us to excel more than any other years prior.” - Kevin Fang (captain)
